Qualifications for Residency

A Senior Living Community for Like-Minded Evangelical Christians

​

il Villaggio is a unique senior living community—rooted in non-charismatic evangelical Christian values—where all residents must meet specific qualifications to maintain the peaceful, Christ-centered environment our community cherishes.

​

While il Villaggio is a senior living community, residents are not required to be retired. Many continue to work full- or part-time or remain actively involved in ministry and volunteer service.

To preserve the mission and fellowship of il Villaggio, the following qualifications have been established for all applicants:

 

 

Eligibility Requirements: 

​

Faith & Church Involvement

Applicants must have at least 10 years membership in a non-charismatic evangelical Christian church

​

Applicants must also have at least 10 years of service in an area such as:

​

• Churches (pastoral roles, elder boards, Sunday School, or other church service)

• Missions or Mission Boards

• Evangelical Christian ministries or organizations

• Evangelical Christian schools

Pastoral and Ministry Recommendation

A letter of recommendation is required from the pastor of the applicant’s current church, and/or ministry organization confirming the applicant’s service and membership in a good standing status.

Doctrinal Compatibility:

Applicants must:

• Agree with the il Villaggio Doctrinal Statement of Faith

• Be doctrinally compatible with the community’s evangelical beliefs

• Commit to upholding the Resident Manual and community standards

• Age Requirement

• As a senior living community, minimum age requirements apply.

If, after reviewing the qualifications, you feel that il Villaggio may be the right community for you, we invite you to begin the application process. We offer both permanent and temporary housing options.

Unit Reservation & Waiting List

To reserve a unit or be placed on the waiting list, a current approved application (dated within the past 12 months) must be on file with the Leasing Office.
